Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doug Sanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Shellac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doug Sanches! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Shellac! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanches shoots for a double leg takedown but Shellac sprawls well. He's pushed Sanches's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sanches fails with the takedown. Shellac misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shellac moves into the clinch. Shellac manages to break the clinch.
Shellac stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanches. Sanches gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Sanches. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shellac fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanches, pushing him back against the cage. Sanches is looking to break free of the clinch but Shellac has double underhooks.

It looks like Doug Sanches has been cut. Sanches shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sanches moves to the back. Sanches struggling to land strikes to the head as Shellac covers up.

Sanches is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shellac doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sanches. Sanches is pressing down on Shellac's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shellac is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanches seems to be working for a kimura but Shellac defends the submission attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Shellac plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanches. Doug Sanches seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Shellac as Sanches shoots in. Sanches has a takedown stuffed. Shellac plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Shellac tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanches swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sanches feints and as Shellac raises his hands in defense, Sanches changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sanches wants to control from the top but Shellac keeps moving. Shellac pulls Sanches in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanches thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sanches throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shellac works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Shellac is working an open guard so Sanches takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Shellac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sanches keeps the fight on the outside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shellac is looking to clinch. Sanches shoots in for a takedown but Shellac shows good takedown defense. Shellac throws a sloppy head kick and Sanches moves out of range easily. Shellac misses with a body kick. Shellac moves in looking to clinch but Sanches pushes him off. Shellac clinches. Shellac breaks from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sanches fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Shellac gets caught flat footed, as Sanches shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sanches looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanches passes Shellac's left leg - he's now in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanches trying to control from half guard but Shellac is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacques Shellac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Doug Sanches's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Doug Sanches's cut is getting worse. Sanches looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Shellac is looking to clinch.

Sanches shoots for a takedown but Shellac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Sanches. Shellac lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sanches shoots in but Shellac avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jacques Shellac is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Shellac lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sanches will feel that in the morning. Doug Sanches has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jacques Shellac is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sanches throws a leg kick and Shellac counters with a left and a right that stings Sanches.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacques Shellac comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shellac winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
