Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chesty Puller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abduwali Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puller comes into the arena with Your Going Down blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Abduwali Hassan enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan throws out a loose jab but Puller uses good head movement to avoid it.
Puller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hassan avoids it really well and circles away.
Puller with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hassan loads up on a big right hand but Puller slips the punch.
Hassan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hassan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hassan wants it to stay on the feet.
A little jabbing left from Hassan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Chesty Puller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puller throws a lazy head kick
and Hassan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hassan gets caught napping as Puller dives in and scores a takedown. Hassan manages to retain guard.
Puller connects with a couple of short punches.

Puller looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hassan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've been hearing that Puller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Puller winds up and cracks Hassan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hassan has hold of Puller's hands but Puller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Puller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Puller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Puller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Hassan is trying to maintain the position but Puller is very close to passing his half guard.
Puller seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Puller is nestled in close to Hassan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Puller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
