Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between CP Munk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seth Coleman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, CP Munk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Seth Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munk looks to land a right hand but Coleman moved out of range.
Coleman lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Coleman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Coleman connects with a jab.
Munk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Coleman.
Munk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Coleman throws a right and a left that Munk avoids nicely.
Coleman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Coleman misses with a few strikes there.
Coleman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Munk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

CP Munk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seth Coleman.
Coleman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Coleman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Munk avoids it really well and circles away.

Coleman is working an open guard so Munk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Munk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coleman tries to avoid it but Munk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coleman to the ground. Coleman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Munk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Munk throws out a loose jab but Coleman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Munk defends well and Coleman ends up having to push Munk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Munk on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Coleman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Munk moves into the clinch successfully.

Munk will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Coleman up against the cage.
Munk has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Coleman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Munk tightens his grip and picks Coleman up, before dumping him to the ground. Coleman manages to land in guard.

Munk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coleman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Munk stands up over Coleman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Munk postures up in Coleman's guard and throws a big left but Coleman blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Coleman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Munk.
Coleman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coleman fails to land the takedown.
Munk tries to counter by clinching up but Coleman breaks away and moves out of range.
Munk slips a jab and a cross from Coleman.
Munk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes.
Coleman misses with the combination.
Munk is looking to counter the offense by Coleman and move into the clinch.
Coleman throws a right and a left that both miss.

Munk drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.
Munk is trying to drag Coleman to the mat but Coleman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The referee is keeping an eye on Munk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Munk lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Munk lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Coleman has had enough of the clinch but Munk keeps him there for the moment.

Munk is working Coleman over against the cage.
Coleman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Munk is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Munk pushes Coleman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Munk obliges.

Munk throws a big uppercut that drops Coleman! More strikes from Munk and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Coleman lies dazed against the cage as Munk celebrates with his cornermen!
