Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rusen Arap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devonte Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devonte Harris looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rusen Arap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devonte Harris! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Arap misses. Harris shoots in but Arap avoids the takedown attempt easily. Arap throws a lazy right hand but Harris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Harris throws a counter combo. A looping hook to the body misses from Arap. Harris does a little dance to reset his feet. Arap misses with a shot to the body and Harris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harris throws out a loose jab but Arap uses good head movement to avoid it. Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harris showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Arap is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arap wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris controlling the action here. Harris is pressing down on Arap's thigh, looking to free his foot. Arap is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris not landing any meaningful shots this time. Harris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Arap slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris is looking to advance position but Arap has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Arap tries to control but Harris wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arap goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Harris is on top in guard.
Arap looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Arap wants to hit a switch here but Harris passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Arap there! Arap tries to hold on but Harris pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arap bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Arap trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Arap wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position. Arap wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving. Arap trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Harris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arap is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Arap wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving. Harris is looking to sweep but instead, Arap has passed into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Arap seems to be working for a kimura but Harris defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rusen Arap will probably get the nod. That's time! Arap's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A big left from Arap misses. Harris is looking for the big counter here. Arap shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Harris has taken the fight to the clinch.
Harris tightens his grip and picks Arap up, before dumping him to the ground. Arap manages to land in guard. Arap looking to control.
Rusen Arap overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Harris would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Harris trying to control but Arap is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arap is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arap had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harris defends it easily. Harris wants to control from the top but Arap keeps moving. Arap is controlling Harris's posture. Arap is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Arap trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arap has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Harris defend it? Arap steps over the head and cranks it - Harris is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Arap!
