Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam McLaughlin!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulista takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Paulista scores with a crisp jab that stopped McLaughlin in his tracks.
It looks like Adam McLaughlin has been cut.
Paulista will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McLaughlin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Paulista misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paulista swinging wilding here.
Paulista stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McLaughlin.
McLaughlin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Paulista.
A punch combination from Paulista misses.
McLaughlin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paulista.
Paulista throws a body punch but McLaughlin moves out of range.
Paulista misses with the combination.
McLaughlin throws a quick inside leg kick.
McLaughlin lands with a kick to the temple. Paulista shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McLaughlin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Paulista wants to break free but McLaughlin has control.
Paulista is trying to break free.
McLaughlin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McLaughlin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Paulista.
McLaughlin lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Paulista is looking to close the distance but McLaughlin sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Paulista crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Paulista is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
