Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tony Miyazaki and James McMannus. McMannus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Game - Name Me King (Feat. Pusha T) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James McMannus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tony Miyazaki! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; James McMannus!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

McMannus gets tackled into the cage by Miyazaki. Miyazaki maintains the clinch.
McMannus jumps guard but Miyazaki turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
McMannus is looking for a takedown.
McMannus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tony Miyazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James McMannus.

Miyazaki pulls guard successfully.

Miyazaki has his foot on McMannus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McMannus works his way back into a safe position though.

Miyazaki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McMannus is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McMannus passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMannus keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McMannus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miyazaki is just riding it out for now. McMannus eventually gives up the hold.
Miyazaki manages to get to full guard.

McMannus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Miyazaki looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McMannus passes into half guard.
Miyazaki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McMannus on the ground.
McMannus trying to pass the guard but Miyazaki defending well.
McMannus prevents Miyazaki from improving his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miyazaki trying to control but McMannus postures up.
McMannus keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Miyazaki wants to control but McMannus is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Miyazaki is trying to get back to full guard.

Miyazaki is defending against the submission attempts here by McMannus.
McMannus moves into full mount! Miyazaki won't be happy about that!

McMannus is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Miyazaki is surviving well by controlling McMannus's body position as best he can.
McMannus controlling the position easily from mount.
Miyazaki is desperately trying to improve his position but McMannus has a good base and remains in mount.
Miyazaki wants to control but McMannus is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Miyazaki tries to improve his position but McMannus has taken his back! McMannus has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Miyazaki tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! McMannus pushes Miyazaki away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
