Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Colt Compton and Delphino Atlantis. Atlantis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Prodigy - Firestarter. Delphino Atlantis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Colt Compton! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Delphino Atlantis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. The fight moves into the clinch position. Compton drags the fight down to the ground.
Atlantis trying to control but Compton is working from the bottom. Atlantis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Compton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Compton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Compton! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Compton (4) vs (0) Atlantis Atlantis tries to improve position but can't. Atlantis tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Compton presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Score +2 for reaching mount: Compton (6) vs (0) Atlantis We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atlantis is just holding on here. Compton manages to take his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Compton is trying to stick to Atlantis's back but Atlantis is turning into Compton. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Compton's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Atlantis. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Compton (9) vs (2) Atlantis Atlantis trying to control but Compton is working from the bottom. Compton is pulling down on Atlantis's head to control his posture. Atlantis passes Compton's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Atlantis uses his free foot to push down on Compton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Compton. Score +3 for passing guard: Compton (9) vs (5) Atlantis The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Atlantis looking to control but Compton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Atlantis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Compton turns into him and now he's in Atlantis's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Compton is posturing up here but Atlantis has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Compton tries to roll out but it's too tight and Compton has to tap! Slick submission there by Atlantis!
