Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Asa Sharp and Kelvin Bang. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kelvin Bang was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Asa Sharp! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Kelvin Bang! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Bang tries to close the distance and clinch but Sharp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sharp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bang but Bang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sharp sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bang fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bang is looking for a takedown. Asa Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Bang. Sharp has picked Bang up - he's going for a ride! Sharp dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Bang keeps trying to improve his position. Bang tries to hold on but Sharp pushes him away. Sharp moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bang has worked his arm free - good work by Bang!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bang is trying to control Sharp's posture but Sharp avoids it. Sharp tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bang's legs. Bang is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bang gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bang is not content to let Sharp control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bang slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sharp trying to control the position from guard on top but Bang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bang tries to land a sweep but no joy. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bang is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bang wants to control from the top but Sharp keeps moving. Bang wants to pass the guard but Sharp is keeping the position. Sharp has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bang should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sharp has tightened it up now! Bang should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
