Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pierce Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Synyx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In Scarlet Storm. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pierce Quincy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Synyx Dall! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Dall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dall connects with a body shot. Dall with a jab. Dall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dall showed some decent athleticism there. Quincy is trying is best to control the position here. Dall trying to pass the guard but Quincy defending well. Dall is working for a kimura but Quincy is defending it quite comfortably.
Dall prevents Quincy from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quincy is just riding it out for now. Dall eventually gives up the hold. Dall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Quincy sees it coming and defends easily. Dall tries to pass to full mount but Quincy defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Quincy trying to control from the bottom.
Dall works his way into full mount! Dall with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Dall moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Quincy has worked his arm free - good work by Quincy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dall postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dall goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Quincy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dall's guard! Nice work there by Quincy! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quincy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Quincy defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quincy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Quincy defends well. Quincy wants to pass the guard but Dall is keeping the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Synyx Dall dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Quincy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circling - Quincy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The crowd cheers as Dall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Quincy doesn't seem phased though. Dall misses with a body kick. Dall misses with a shot to the body and Quincy counters with an outside leg kick.
Dall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Quincy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dall somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quincy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A low kick from Quincy misses and Dall counters with a single leg into guard. Quincy didn't expect that. Dall passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Quincy prevents Dall from improving position. Dall swings around for an armbar but Quincy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dall's guard. Quincy wants to stand but Dall is controlling his posture from full guard. Quincy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quincy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quincy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Quincy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dall on the ground. Quincy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dall's guard. Dall wants to sweep but no luck. Dall looking for subs off his back but Quincy has passed one foot through into half guard.
Still in half guard, Quincy seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dall tries to get to full guard but Quincy has control of the leg. Dall looking for submissions off his back. We've been hearing that Quincy has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Dall looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Synyx Dall will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Quincy moves out of range of the body kick from Dall.
As Dall backs away, Quincy returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Dall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dall works the jab nicely. Dall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quincy moves away. Quincy throws a lazy uppercut
and Dall counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Dall misses the shot to the body. Dall takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Quincy lands with an overhand left. Dall is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Quincy rather than just go for the knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall swings widly with a right hand
and Quincy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Synyx Dall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dall connects with a crisp jab. Dall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quincy was well out of range. Poor timing from Dall. Dall thuds his right hand into Quincy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall lands with a good body shot. Quincy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dall. It appears Quincy was looking to counter with a kick there. Quincy lands an overhand right. Quincy throws a leg kick but Dall moved away. Dall lands a jab to the nose. Dall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quincy moves away. Dall scores with a leg kick.
Dall wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Dall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quincy. Quincy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A lazy body kick from Dall and Quincy counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dall checks a low kick from Quincy. Dall does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dall tries to work over Quincy's front leg with a kick but Quincy checks it. Quincy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Quincy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Synyx Dall has been cut. Quincy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Dall misses the body punch and Quincy counters with a leg kick. Quincy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Good standup being displayed there by Quincy as he connects with a hook. Quincy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quincy throws a lazy uppercut
and Dall counters with a stiff right hand. Quincy misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Dall swings for the body but Quincy moves out of range.
Quincy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dall's sensitive parts. Dall missing with a left hand there. Quincy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dall comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Synyx Dall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A head kick misses from Quincy. Dall moves out of range of the body kick from Quincy.
Dall dips to his left and cracks Quincy with an uppercut! Dall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quincy to score with a decent uppercut. Quincy misses with a hook
and Dall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quincy motions for Dall to come forward. Quincy throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dall has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Quincy moves out of range of the leg kick from Dall. Dall throws a nice outside leg kick. Dall has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. This has been an exciting period of action! A slapping leg kick lands for Dall.
Dall moves out of range of the body kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dall! But no joy. A low kick from Quincy misses and Dall counters with a single leg into guard. Quincy didn't expect that. Quincy working a defensive guard here.
Dall wants to control from the top but Quincy keeps moving. Pierce Quincy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dall content to stall in guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! Synyx Dall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
