Yoshida comes to the cage accompanied by Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla . Ragnar has chosen Shook Ones II as his entrance music. Bjorn Ragnar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnar looks for the body kick but Yoshida saw that one coming.
Ragnar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ragnar misses with a looping left.
Yoshida lands a really nice looking cross but Ragnar seems unphased.
It looks like Bjorn Ragnar has been cut.
Yoshida wants to slow Ragnar down by chopping away at his legs.
Ragnar moves out of range of the strikes.
Yoshida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from Yoshida finds it's target.
Ragnar throws a leg kick which misses Yoshida's front leg but catches the back leg as Yoshida tries to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ragnar swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Yoshida throws a looping overhand right but Ragnar ducks down to avoid it.
Ragnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Yoshida is just out of range.

A nice inside leg kick there by Yoshida. That's going to slow Ragnar down.
Ragnar throws a hook but Yoshida avoids it easily.

Yoshida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ragnar steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

and Ragnar counters with a body kick that stops Yoshida in his tracks momentarily.
Yoshida dips to his left and cracks Ragnar with an uppercut!

Yoshida lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ragnar or not.

Yoshida blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ragnar misses with a body punch.

Ragnar throws a punch but it's blocked by Yoshida.
Yoshida lands a nice uppercut.
Ragnar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yoshida backwards.
Ragnar has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ragnar pushes off an throws an elbow but Yoshida leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuuto Yoshida will probably get the nod.

Yuuto Yoshida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshida circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ragnar drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Yoshida follows Ragnar to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Yuuto Yoshida thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
