Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ein Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Newman!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman scores with a jab. Stein acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Newman misses with a looping right.
Newman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Stein's head.


It looks like Ein Stein has been cut.
Stein scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Stein's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Newman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stein scrambles back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Newman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Stein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Newman.
Stein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stein is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Newman throws a half hearted mid kick.
It looked like Stein was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Newman.
Stein doesn't manage to clinch there - Newman circles away.
Stein lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stein takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Newman misses with a jab to the body

and Stein counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Stein missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Newman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Stein wants to control from the top but Newman keeps moving.
Newman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Newman is pressing down on Stein's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stein is holding on for now.
Newman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Newman drops an elbow to the side of Stein's head.
Stein keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Newman wants to free his trapped foot but Stein is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stein gets back to full guard.

Stein keeping moving, preventing Newman from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Newman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Newman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Newman cracks Stein with a solid left hand.

Stein is looking for a triangle but Newman pushes his legs off easily.
Newman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Stein avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Stein is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Newman is sitting in close to Stein's body. Stein has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Newman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Newman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Stein.

Ein Stein tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
