Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Yaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: K.C.S.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Yaj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marshall Law! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yaj misses with the combination.
Law lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yaj's sensitive parts. Yaj swings for the body but Law moves out of range.
Yaj lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Law at a distance.
Yaj scores with a crisp jab that stopped Law in his tracks. Law paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Yaj uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Law. An attempted straight right counter from Yaj misses the target. Law lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Law moves into the clinch successfully.
Yaj pushes off an throws an elbow but Law leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Yaj misses with a knee strike.
Yaj is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Law tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Yaj's elbow. Law scores with a shoulder strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yaj blocking some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Law is struggling to control the position. Yaj pushes off an throws an elbow but Law leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Yaj misses with a punch to the body.
Law tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Law using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yaj has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Law. Yaj has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Law after a bit of a struggle. Yaj blocks an elbow strike. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Yaj just misses with a elbow thrown towards Law's brow. Yaj has a couple of punches blocked by Law.
Law doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Yaj goes for a takedown attempt but Law pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Yaj. That's going to take a lot out of him. Law paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A lazy left from Law finds it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yaj's sensitive parts. Law scores with the left hand. Yaj knows he should have avoided that one. Law rushes Yaj and presses him up against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Law. Yaj breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Law connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Law turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Law avoids the body shot from Yaj.
Law looks to land a right hand but Yaj moved out of range. Donk. Law catches Yaj right on the button with a cross. Law fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yaj. Law misses with a leg kick and Yaj counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Yaj wants to work for an arm triangle but Law is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Yaj wants to take a breather but Law is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Law pushes Yaj off looking to stand but Yaj dives back in and keeps control.

Law keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yaj is stalling here. Law is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yaj seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Law has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. You can see the frustration on Yaj's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yaj tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Law is looking to take a break and control but Yaj is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yaj is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Law stands up and we're back to a striking position. Law scores with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Law dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Law takes a swing at Yaj's ribcage but misses. Law is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Law scores with a jab to the head.
Law closes the distance and pushes Yaj back into the cage. A short uppercut from Law. Law has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Yaj has clasped his hands together around Law's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Law struggling a bit here. Yaj is looking to take a break and control but Law is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Law is looking to regain half guard here but Yaj keeps moving and retains side control. Yaj throws an elbow but Law slips to the side and avoids it well. Yaj fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yaj throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Law dodges the ground and pound from Yaj. Yaj lands some shots froms side control. Law on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Yaj fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Yaj tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Yaj tries for a kimura but Law is defending well. Yaj is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Law has escaped the position, nice work there. Yaj thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law is pushing Yaj's head away, looking to escape. Yaj manages to hold on to the position though. Yaj scoring with punches and elbows. Yaj working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Yaj wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Law, who protects the arm well. Law can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Law defending against the ground and pound. Yaj throwing strikes but Law manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Yaj tries to bench press Law off him but Law keeps the position. Yaj has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Law stands up and we're back to a striking position. Law cracks Yaj with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Law throws a leg kick but Yaj sees it coming and checks it nicely. Yaj checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Law waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yaj. Yaj avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Law thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Law smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Law has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Law throws a quick inside leg kick. Marshall Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Yaj. Law does a little dance to reset his feet. Law wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Yaj swings for the body but Law moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Law swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yaj. Law throws a jab but it's blocked by Yaj. Law moves out of range of the strikes. Yaj drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Law throws a quick inside leg kick. Law scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Law swings for the body but Yaj moves out of range.
Yaj appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Law with a body punch. A glancing blow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Law showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Law keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Yaj. Law tries to counter by closing the distance. Yaj punishes Law's body with a nice straight punch. A bone on bone clash there as Yaj blocks the leg kick.
Yaj ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Law moves away. Law steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Yaj. Law drives through and clinches with Yaj against the cage.
Yaj blocks an uppercut.
Yaj wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Law misses with the head strike.

A nice left hand lands by Yaj.
Law lands with a short punch from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yaj is trying to break the clinch but Law has him pressed against the cage. Yaj is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Law fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Law gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yaj.

That's one minute gone in the round. Yaj lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Law working aggressively here.
Yaj has hold of one of Law's legs. Law is fighting the takedown attempt but Yaj gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Yaj lands a couple of digs. Yaj postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Law wants to stand and escape but Yaj is having none of it. Yaj is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Law utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Law avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Yaj with a nice head shot there. Yaj loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yaj might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Yaj throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Yaj pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Law is keeping the position for now. Leo Yaj has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Yaj is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Law is defending well for now. A frustrated look appears on Yaj's face as he tries to break the clinch. Yaj struggles to land a body shot inside as Law controls his hands.
Yaj breaks the clinch.
Law fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yaj manages to avoid it. Law steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yaj. Law thuds his right hand into Yaj's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that's the end of the fight! Leo Yaj showed his dominance in that final round. I think Law has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
