Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Azar Qasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qasi comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. Azar Qasi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Azar Qasi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny White! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Qasi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Qasi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
White throws a looping overhand right but Qasi ducks down to avoid it. As White backs away, Qasi returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Qasi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Qasi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and White has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Qasi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Horrible takedown attempt by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Qasi, which made it look bad. Qasi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it. White fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. White throws a half hearted mid kick. White lands a nice leg kick that just misses Qasi's sensitive parts. White paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Qasi moves away from the strike by White. Qasi scores with a jab. The fighters circling - White throws out the jab but it was never going to land. White looks to land a body kick but Qasi moved away. White keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Qasi. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Qasi throws a head kick that misses and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Qasi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Martial Arts Dojo in the buildup to the fight. White misses with an uppercut. Qasi misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qasi misses the jab. A countering left hand to the body from White misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Qasi, right into the meat.
Qasi misses with a hook. Qasi jabs at White's body. Qasi keeps White at a distance using the push kick. White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Qasi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Qasi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Qasi counters with a straight right hand. Sloppy strikes from Qasi. Those never looked like landing. Qasi connects with a leg kick. White looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Qasi scores with a nice strike. White throws a low kick but it's checked well by Qasi. Qasi scores to the head and body with a nice combination! White misses with a low kick.
White goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. White thumps Qasi with a low kick. A slow jab from Qasi misses its intended target. Qasi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. White throws the kick towards the body but Qasi avoids it. White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Qasi. Qasi swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Jab by White. White swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Qasi. Qasi checks a leg kick nicely. Qasi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. White connects with a solid leg kick. White paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Qasi misses with a low kick. Qasi just misses with a punch to the body.

White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Qasi. Qasi misses with a wild body shot. White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

White misses with a wild body shot. Qasi scores with the left hand. White knows he should have avoided that one. This has been an exciting period of action! Sloppy strikes from Qasi. Those never looked like landing. Qasi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Qasi stuns White with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Qasi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Qasi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Qasi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White. White throws a quick inside leg kick. White scores with a jab to the head.

and White counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A quick step to the side and Qasi tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Qasi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Qasi.
White bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Qasi's head backwards. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A left lands for Qasi. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Qasi moves away. White misses with a straight right. White takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Qasi thumps White with a low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Azar Qasi will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

White gets the takedown into side control. White scoring with punches from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Qasi is looking to reverse the position. White lands a nice forearm strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White gets to mount! Qasi was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. White pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Qasi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Qasi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Qasi works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White actively working from the bottom here. Qasi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, White has managed to free his arm - good work. Qasi wants to take a breather but White is having none of it. Qasi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Qasi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Qasi's back! White has Qasi flattened out and is raining down punches. I really don't envy Qasi right now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Qasi tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Qasi is looking to improve his position but White isn't that keen on the idea. Qasi slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. White scoring with strikes to the body and head. Qasi wants to improve his position but White is controlling well.

Qasi wants to get back to full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Qasi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. White slips a nice elbow through Qasi's hands, connecting with Qasi's forehead. Qasi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but White scores with a couple of nice shots. Qasi is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Qasi looking for submissions off his back. White trying to control from half guard but Qasi is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Qasi is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold. White is thwarting Qasi's attempts to control the position. White seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Qasi tries to roll over but White keeps him under control. Qasi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Qasi is trying to control but can't.

Danny White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Qasi looks to throw the jab but White is out of range. White misses with a leg kick and Qasi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps White thinking. Azar Qasi is winning the standup battle so far. Qasi is looking to slow White down with leg kicks. Qasi getting the better of the striking in that exchange. White throws a body kick that misses. A slow jab from Qasi misses its intended target. White just misses with a punch to the body.

White throws a lazy body kick and Qasi counters with a straight right hand. White chopping away at his opponent's legs.
White misses the jab. Nice body punch from White. Qasi misses with an uppercut. White cracks Qasi with a right hand to the side of the head. White thuds his right hand into Qasi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Qasi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from White. Qasi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Qasi circles away quickly and effectively. Qasi takes a shot right to the bread basket. A chopping leg kick lands by White. Qasi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. White takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Qasi loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch. It seemed like White was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Qasi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
White throws a hook to the side of Qasi's head but Qasi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Qasi throws a lazy right hand but White sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. White checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Qasi moves out of range of the body kick. A low kick from White is predictable there and Qasi counters with a stiff right hand. White throws a hook to the side of Qasi's head but Qasi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. White lands a leg kick that knocks Qasi off balance momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Danny White. Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
