With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerrone fails to land with a series of punches.
Emelianenko looks to land a right hand but Cerrone moved out of range.
Emelianenko misses the body punch
and Cerrone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cerrone ducks right into an uppercut from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko cracks Cerrone with a right hand to the side of the head.
Cerrone takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Emelianenko misses with an uppercut.
Cerrone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Emelianenko throws a lazy uppercut
and Cerrone counters with a nice uppercut.
Good exchange - Cerrone coming out on top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Emelianenko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cerrone is trying to defend but Emelianenko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Emelianenko is trying to work for a kimura but Cerrone is defending well.
Cerrone is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Emelianenko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Emelianenko's back!
Cerrone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cerrone looking to break Emelianenko's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Emelianenko remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cerrone will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Emelianenko wants to get back to his feet.

Cerrone is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Emelianenko has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Emelianenko is trying to stand back up.

Emelianenko tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Cerrone has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Emelianenko is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
