The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines dives in and scores a takedown into Hyrkanian's guard.
Hines works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hines wants to work for an arm triangle but Hyrkanian is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hines has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hyrkanian defend it? Hines steps over the head and cranks it - Hyrkanian is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hines!
