Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cees Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Wickline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis Wickline is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem swats away the attempt to clinch by Wickline.
Overeem stuffs the takedown.
Wickline shoots in looking for a takedown. Overeem tries to sprawl out of it but Wickline keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Overeem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Overeem keeps the fight on the outside.

It looks like Travis Wickline has been cut.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wickline can do anything to dispel that myth.
Overeem postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wickline looks a forlorn figure.

That was a close round but I would say that Cees Overeem will probably get the nod.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wickline takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
