Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fujiwara Tsuyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matel Huchkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsuyoshi's entrance music is WHISPERED - HOLD THE SWORD. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fujiwara Tsuyoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matel Huchkov! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsuyoshi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Huchkov manages to avoid it. Tsuyoshi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Huchkov clinches up with Tsuyoshi and pushes him back against the cage. Tsuyoshi tries to land knees in the clinch but Huchkov avoids the damage to the body. Tsuyoshi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Huchkov.
Huchkov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tsuyoshi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Huchkov.

Fujiwara Tsuyoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matel Huchkov. A right hand to the body from Tsuyoshi.
Tsuyoshi lands a body shot. Huchkov is trying to drag Tsuyoshi to the mat but Tsuyoshi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Huchkov has a couple of punches blocked by Tsuyoshi.

Huchkov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tsuyoshi pulls his leg out and moves away.

It looks like Matel Huchkov has been cut. Tsuyoshi lands a front kick. Tsuyoshi with a hook. Huchkov tries to clinch there but Tsuyoshi circles away.
Huchkov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tsuyoshi napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Huchkov is trying to get an arm triangle but Tsuyoshi is defending well. Huchkov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tsuyoshi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Huchkov but great work by Tsuyoshi. Huchkov being controlled for a moment. That's three minutes gone in the round. Huchkov is not content to let Tsuyoshi control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huchkov tries to improve position but can't. Tsuyoshi taking a breather here. Huchkov gets back to half guard. Tsuyoshi is taking a breather. Huchkov says something to him but it's hard to make out. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tsuyoshi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tsuyoshi is trying to control the action in half guard but Huchkov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tsuyoshi blocks the strikes from Huchkov.

Fujiwara Tsuyoshi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matel Huchkov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tsuyoshi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Huchkov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tsuyoshi throws a leg kick but Huchkov sees it coming and moves out of range. Tsuyoshi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Huchkov back to the cage. Tsuyoshi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A jab from Tsuyoshi misses. Fujiwara Tsuyoshi is winning the standup battle so far. Nice uppercut there from Tsuyoshi. Tsuyoshi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Tsuyoshi connects with a right hand. Huchkov shakes it off. Huchkov throws a quick inside leg kick. We've been told by Tsuyoshi's head coaches at Raztafarai Training Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Huchkov moves out of range of the body kick from Tsuyoshi.

Huchkov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tsuyoshi.

Tsuyoshi gets caught napping as Huchkov dives in and scores a takedown. Tsuyoshi manages to retain guard. Huchkov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Huchkov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Huchkov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tsuyoshi has managed to free his arm - good work. Huchkov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Matel Huchkov! Matel Huchkov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
