Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Redding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redding comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Redding! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redding misses with a kick to the body and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Jones forces Redding back against the cage and clinches. Redding misses with a shot to the kidneys.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jones prevents a body shot from Redding. Redding misses with a punch to the body.
Jones lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Redding pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Redding blocks the elbow strike.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Redding has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Redding backwards. Jones connects with a nasty looking knee right to Redding's face.

Redding tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Redding takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Joshua Redding has been cut. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Redding has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Redding doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jones lands a damaging elbow. Jones lands with a left to the head.
Redding is rocked! Jones blocks the elbow strike.
Jones lands with a light punch inside. Redding is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Jones lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones tries to land a knee to the head but Redding blocks with his arms.

Jones utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Clinched against the cage, Jones lands a big elbow that drops Redding! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Redding is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Jones! Johnny Jones spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. The defeated Joshua Redding had this to say: 'Sorry to everyone I let down. I will take this experience, learn from it, and come back like a bat out of hell. You'll all see.'.
