The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaleva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Caholic tries to avoid it but Kaleva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Caholic to the ground. Caholic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kaleva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kaleva lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been hearing good reports from Caholic's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caholic is rocked!
Caholic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kaleva gets to his feet and stands over Caholic, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Caholic felt that one! Kaleva unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Caholic from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ahti Kaleva!
A very excited looking Ahti Kaleva made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Al Caholic spoke after the fight, saying 'Suck It'.
