Sharp shoots in and gets a takedown into Karhu's guard.
Karhu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sharp wants to pass the guard but Karhu is keeping the position.
Sharp content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Karhu has locked up a guillotine! Karhu's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sharp is holding on here and Karhu must be using up a lot of energy. Sharp has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Karhu gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
