The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krand has managed to clinch.
Krand tries for a takedown but BigMan manages to get underhooks.

Krand turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Krand manages to end up in side control.
BigMan regains half guard.

BigMan actively working from the bottom here.

Krand blocks the strikes from BigMan.
BigMan wants to control but Krand is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krand throws a strike but BigMan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Krand has hold of BigMan's hands but BigMan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Krand trying to hold on to BigMan's head to control him but BigMan postures up.
BigMan uses his free foot to push down on Krand's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krand.
Krand is trying desperately to improve position.
BigMan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Krand is trying to stand but he's just given BigMan his back.
Krand is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
BigMan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

BigMan is working for a rear naked choke. Krand is not defending it well and BigMan has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Krand refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Krand's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
