Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bronson Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes's entrance music is Slam - By: Onyx. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes cracks Boom with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hughes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hughes closes the distance and clinches up with Boom, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes Boom against the cage but Boom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown but Boom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hughes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little jabbing left from Boom on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
