Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Ray Badass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass gets a double leg takedown into De La Cruz's guard.
Badass trying to control the position from guard on top but De La Cruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Badass lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
De La Cruz has his foot on Badass's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Badass works his way back into a safe position though.
De La Cruz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
De La Cruz has momentary wrist control but Badass slips an elbow through the middle.
Badass makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Badass distracts De La Cruz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Badass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
De La Cruz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Badass defends well.

Badass lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Badass lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt De La Cruz quite badly. De La Cruz pulls Badass in close trying to recover. Badass postures up and lands two really hard shots that put De La Cruz on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but De La Cruz doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Ray Badass!
In his post fight interview, Billy Ray Badass started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
