Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Furio Giunta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurgen Patriarkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Giunta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Godfather Theme - Fantomas. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giunta looks to land a combination but Patriarkki avoids it well.
Giunta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Patriarkki.
Patriarkki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Giunta swings for the body but Patriarkki moves out of range.
Giunta takes one to the chin there.
Giunta throws a wild body kick that Patriarkki sees coming a mile off.

It looks like Jurgen Patriarkki has been cut.

Giunta clobbers Patriarkki with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Patriarkki tries to clinch up but Giunta circles away and keeps his distance.
Giunta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Patriarkki is looking to clinch but Giunta is avoiding it.
Giunta throws a series of punches but Patriarkki avoids them all with ease.
Furio Giunta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patriarkki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Giunta throws a sloppy head kick and Patriarkki moves out of range easily.
Patriarkki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Giunta to score with a decent uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Giunta cracks Patriarkki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Patriarkki misses with an uppercut. Giunta saw that one coming.
Patriarkki looks to clinch
and Giunta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Giunta shoots for a double leg takedown but Patriarkki sprawls well. He's pushed Giunta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Giunta misses with a wild combination.
Giunta closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Giunta lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That has opened up Jurgen Patriarkki's cut even more.

Giunta drops Patriarkki with a beautiful combination! Patriarkki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Giunta is looking for the KO!

Giunta fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Patriarkki out cold! Brutal finish!
