And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes wants to clinch up but Seppala keeps it at a distance.
Seppala rushes Holmes and presses him up against the cage.
Seppala lands a body shot in the clinch.
Seppala pushes Holmes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Tim Holmes has been cut.
Holmes wants to get back to striking at distance but Seppala won't allow it.
Holmes prevents the takedown attempt.
Seppala tries a body shot but Holmes blocks it.
Seppala lands a left hand that snaps the head of Holmes backwards.

Holmes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Seppala has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Holmes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Seppala lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A left hand lands to the body for Seppala.
Seppala presses Holmes against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Holmes is trying to push Seppala away but Seppala has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Seppala tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Holmes's elbow.
Holmes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Holmes is struggling to control the position.
Seppala lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

and Holmes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Seppala swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Holmes.

That has opened up Tim Holmes's cut even more.
Holmes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holmes is still on wobbly legs! Can Seppala finish him?
Seppala cracks Holmes on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Holmes falls backwards against the cage. Seppala follows up with more strikes that drop Holmes to his knees. Seppala keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Holmes! This one is all over!
