27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Coleman Jr. Coleman Jr swings around for an armbar but Mayorga sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Coleman Jr's guard. Coleman Jr is controlling Mayorga's posture. Mayorga trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mayorga slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Coleman Jr manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mayorga's best efforts. Mayorga is looking for a kimura here.
Coleman Jr tries to roll over but Mayorga keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mayorga perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mayorga is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Coleman Jr has managed to free his arm - good work. Coleman Jr is trying to get back to full guard.

Coleman Jr is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mayorga gets his way!

Coleman Jr shoots in and bounces Mayorga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mayorga lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayorga drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mayorga jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Coleman Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mayorga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mayorga wants to pass the guard but Coleman Jr is keeping the position. Coleman Jr throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Coleman Jr can't keep his opponent in guard - Mayorga advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mayorga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Coleman Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mayorga. Coleman Jr moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mayorga wants to control from the top but Coleman Jr keeps moving. Coleman Jr is pulling down on Mayorga's head to control his posture. Mayorga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Coleman Jr can do to turn this around? Coleman Jr wants to sweep here but Mayorga controlling him for the moment. Coleman Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mayorga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mayorga wants to pass the guard but Coleman Jr is keeping the position. A close second round but Mark Coleman Jr will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Coleman Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Mayorga is just out of range. Mayorga is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coleman Jr. Mayorga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Coleman Jr. Mayorga misses with a body shot.

Coleman Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mayorga is fending him off so far but Coleman Jr persists. Nope, Mayorga circles away and we're back to standing. Mayorga throws a leg kick which misses Coleman Jr's front leg but catches the back leg as Coleman Jr tries to avoid it. Mayorga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coleman Jr. Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
