Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ollie Woodard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Bach!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bach shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Woodard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Woodard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woodard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bach wants to control from the top but Woodard keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bach trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Woodard manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Bach wants to get back to his feet but Woodard passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bach tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Bach is looking for a sweep. Woodard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Woodard is thwarting Bach's attempts to control the position.
Still in half guard, Woodard seems content to control.
Bach has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Woodard is working away from the top position though.

Woodard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Woodard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Woodard gets a clinch.

Bach pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bach darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Woodard is controlling Bach's trapped leg to prevent Bach from advancing to side control.

Bach seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Woodard is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
