Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stratovarius Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary - Tupac. Stratovarius Smiff looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Smiff misses
and Gonzalez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Smiff rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gonzalez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Smiff misses with a takedown

It looks like Stratovarius Smiff has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smiff throws a lazy head kick
and Gonzalez counters with a left to the body.
Smiff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gonzalez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gonzalez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gonzalez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smiff defends it easily.
Gonzalez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Smiff doesn't defend quickly enough and Gonzalez has managed to lock this one up! Can Smiff escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gonzalez on a fantastic submission victory.

A very excited looking Nick Gonzalez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Stratovarius Smiff stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks for coming out party's on me '.
