Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herman Munster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Asikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asikainen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asikainen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Munster.
Munster fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Asikainen to the ground. Munster is now in Asikainen's guard.

Munster wants to pass the guard but Asikainen is keeping the position.
Munster postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Asikainen has momentary wrist control but Munster slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munster passes Asikainen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Munster seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Munster seems to be looking for submissions.
Munster lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Munster works his foot free and advances to mount.

Munster postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Asikainen looks a forlorn figure.
Munster is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Asikainen is surviving well by controlling Munster's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Munster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Munster loads up with a big shot that hurts Asikainen! He's pulled Munster in close but Munster has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Asikainen survive? More strikes from Munster and Asikainen is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A less than humble Herman Munster misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
