Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patricia Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Riot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Riot has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Patricia Riggs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Patricia Riggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damian Riot! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riot showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Riggs.
Riot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Riot is thwarting Riggs's attempts to control the position. Riggs tries to kick Riot off but Riot keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs wants to get back to full guard. Riot not doing much here.
Riggs is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Riot pulls his head out easily. Riot landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Riggs wants to control but Riot is keeping busy and won't allow it. Riot tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Riggs. Riot slows the pace down in half guard. Riot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Riot is looking for a kimura but Riggs is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Riot to get the leverage. Riot wants to pass to mount but Riggs is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs keeping hold of Riot's head, controlling as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riot prevents Riggs from improving his position. Riot seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Riot stalling. Riggs wants to get back to his feet.
Riot is trying to work for a kimura but Riggs is defending well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Riot lands a nice short elbow. Riot passes into side control, despite Riggs's attempt to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riot staying calm. Riggs taking a bit of punishment here - Riot scoring with strikes. Riggs is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Riot is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Riggs has escaped the position, nice work there. Riggs prevents Riot from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Riot tries for a kimura but Riggs is defending well. Riot cracks Riggs with a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggs wants to control but Riot postures up. Riggs is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Riot is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Riot tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Riot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riggs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Riggs seems a little lost for a moment, as Riot dominates the positioning. Riot looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Riggs looks to move to half guard but instead Riot has passed into mount! Damn! Riot stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Riot dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Riot throws a sloppy head kick and Riggs moves out of range easily. Riot defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riggs. Some wild striking there from Riot.
As Riot looks to move away, Riggs throws a big counter combo but Riot just gets out of the way. Riot dives in and scores a takedown into Riggs's guard. Riot sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riot cracks Riggs with a solid left hand. Riggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Riot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Riot sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riot prevents Riggs from getting back to his feet. Riot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Riggs lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Riot pulls Riggs in to control the position. Damian Riot has got the better of the ground game so far. Riot is continuing to stall. Riggs looking to sit in guard and control but Riot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs keeping full guard, as Riot tries to pass. Riot has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Riot landing with the ground and pound. Riot trying to stand up but can't free himself from Riggs's guard. Riggs wants to stand up but Riot is controlling him. Riggs is trying to keep Riot in close.
Riot is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Riggs is trying to control the position but Riot postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Riot defends it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riot is working Riggs over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Riggs has momentary wrist control but Riot slips an elbow through the middle. Riot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Riggs wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Riot is now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riot connects with a nice short shot to Riggs's temple. Riot is looking for a kimura here.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Riggs pulls Riot in close to his closed guard and prevents Riot from doing any damage or advancing position. Riot controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Riot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Riot swings away with a body shot that misses
and Riggs counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Riot throws a low kick but Riggs avoids it. Riggs throws a big counter combination but Riot scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Riot lands a left and a right that send Riggs crashing to the mat, dazed. Riot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Riggs is rocked!
It looks like Patricia Riggs has been cut. Riot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh Riggs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Riggs is trying to control but can't.
Riot lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Riggs! More strikes land and this one is all over! Riot jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
