Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Michael Blake and Erkki Elastinen. Elastinen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cascada - Dangerous. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Elastinen gets tackled into the cage by Blake. Blake maintains the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Blake's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Blake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Elastinen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blake is keeping the position for now.
Blake wants to sweep but no luck.
Elastinen content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Blake has locked up a guillotine! Blake's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Elastinen is holding on here and Blake must be using up a lot of energy. Elastinen has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Blake gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
