Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin McAdams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McAdams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hypnotize. Fitzpatrick has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darryl Fitzpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McAdams.
McAdams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fitzpatrick is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

and Fitzpatrick counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fitzpatrick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McAdams changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fitzpatrick leaves McAdams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fitzpatrick swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McAdams has his takedown stuffed
and Fitzpatrick counters with a nice uppercut.
Fitzpatrick throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fitzpatrick scores with a one two! McAdams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kevin McAdams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McAdams finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the ropes, ducking and weaving under Fitzpatrick's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and McAdams falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
