Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Borsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cre Ryotlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cre Ryotlin! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borsch misses with a two punch combination.
Ryotlin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Borsch gets caught flat footed, as Ryotlin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Borsch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Borsch has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ryotlin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Borsch clobbers Ryotlin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Borsch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ryotlin. Borsch fails to land with a series of punches.

Nice body punch from Borsch. Borsch lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Borsch lands with an uppercut that bounces Ryotlin off the cage and back into rage. Borsch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ryotlin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Borsch, as that shot connected.

Stefan Borsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Borsch throws an overhand right that lands on Ryotlin's shoulder, as Ryotlin tries to avoid the shot. Ryotlin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ryotlin trying to control the position from guard on top but Borsch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Borsch keeping full guard, as Ryotlin tries to pass. Borsch can't keep his opponent in guard - Ryotlin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Borsch kicks off Ryotlin and gets to his feet. Borsch is breathing heavily. Ryotlin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Borsch, pushing him back against the cage. Ryotlin fails to pull the fight into his guard.

and Ryotlin counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ryotlin cracks the inside of Borsch's front leg. Ryotlin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Borsch throws a right hand that Ryotlin ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryotlin also avoids with ease. Ryotlin shoots in and bounces Borsch off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ryotlin is stalling in the full guard. Ryotlin wants to control from the top but Borsch keeps moving. Ryotlin passes into half guard.

Borsch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Borsch looks like he's trying to stand up.

That was a close round but I would say that Stefan Borsch will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Borsch can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Borsch looks a forlorn figure.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Borsch manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ryotlin wants to control the pace but Borsch is squirming around nicely. Borsch is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Ryotlin trying to control but he's not successful this time. Despite being in the dominant position, Cre Ryotlin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A big right from Borsch misses. Ryotlin has a takedown stuffed. Ryotlin takes a shot right to the bread basket. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cre Ryotlin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Ryotlin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ryotlin swings around for an armbar but Borsch sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ryotlin's guard. Borsch has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ryotlin is proving hard to escape from.

Ryotlin gets slowly back to his feet. Borsch throws a right and a left that Ryotlin avoids nicely. Borsch misses with a left hand and Ryotlin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Borsch's guard now. Ryotlin passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ryotlin swings around for an armbar but Borsch sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ryotlin's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ryotlin is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stefan Borsch. I think Borsch has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
