Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elia Mercurio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Nico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nicolas Nico was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Nice uppercut lands for Mercurio. That snapped Nico's head back.
Nico takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

We've been hearing reports that Mercurio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Nico throws a lazy right hand but Mercurio sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Mercurio was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nico.
Mercurio takes one to the chin there.
Mercurio throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nico comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Mercurio stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Nico is on him like rabid pit bull! Mercurio slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nicolas Nico!
A relieved looking Nicolas Nico thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
