The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Koks is looking to score with low kicks.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Koks defends it well.
Nice uppercut lands for Koks. That snapped Silva's head back.

It looks like Kron Silva has been cut.

Koks looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Koks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Koks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Silva tries to clinch up but Koks circles away and keeps his distance.

Silva throws out a counter right but Koks avoids it with no problem.

and Koks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva punishes Koks's body with a nice straight punch.
Koks jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Koks's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silva under the eye.
Koks thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Koks scores with a counter punch that sends Silva to the canvas! Koks smells blood - he's punishing Silva with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Silva has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
