Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jones looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
French is looking to clinch.

and French counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by French.
French lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
French wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.

A head kick from French lands but Jones takes it in his stride.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
