Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larus Sturlusson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonas Ribeiro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonas Ribeiro seems to be OK! Sturlusson circles away from the clinch attempt.

A frustrated look appears on Sturlusson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Ribeiro has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sturlusson uses from the top position.
Ribeiro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sturlusson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Ribeiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sturlusson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sturlusson is looking to work some ground and pound but Ribeiro has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sturlusson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Ribeiro has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sturlusson doesn't defend quickly enough and Ribeiro has managed to lock this one up! Can Sturlusson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ribeiro on a fantastic submission victory.
