Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remo Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulie Pennino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulie Pennino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pennino as he avoids it easily.
Bryan ducks under a wild hook from Pennino.
Remo Bryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pennino has managed to clinch.
Pennino wants the takedown. Bryan is fighting it off but Pennino persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bryan 's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pennino's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bryan is on top in guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like Pennino might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pennino enables Bryan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pennino manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
