Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dee Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee Mann could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Shook's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dee Mann! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Shook! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shook displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Shook throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No joy there for Shook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mann tries to clinch but Shook moves out of range. Shook misses with the combination.
Shook throws a right and a left that Mann avoids nicely. Shook throws a series of strikes that have Mann backpedaling.
Mann shoots in looking for a takedown but Shook manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Shook tries to bum rush Mann with a series of wild strikes but Mann uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shook falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mann cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mann misses with a double jab.
Mann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shook as he avoids it easily. Mann dodges the punch combination from Shook.
Shook blocks the body kick.
Shook throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mann looking to score a takedown here. Shook is defending well but Mann drives through and ends up in Shook's guard. Mann sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mann's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Shook really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mann pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shook is keeping the position for now. Shook utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shook wants to stand but Mann is controlling the position. Mann controls from within his opponent's guard. Shook wants to get back to his feet but Mann is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Mann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shook wants to stand up but Mann is controlling him.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Shook throws a combination that misses and Mann counters with a two punch combo. Shook looks winded! Shook throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Shook closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mann is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shook is keeping busy. Mann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

No joy there for Shook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mann bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mann stands up and beckons Shook to his feet. Mann drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mann scoring with punches to the head and body. Mann seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mann decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Shook, up you get! Shook lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mann circles away quickly and effectively. Mann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mann looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Shook keeping moving, preventing Mann from controlling successfully. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mann throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shook is looking to stand up but Mann isn't so interested in that idea. Mann has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mann controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Shook wants to stand up but Mann is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Shook as Mann shoots in. Shook throws a right and a left that Mann avoids nicely. Shook throws a series of punches but Mann avoids them all with ease. Mann shoots in and bounces Shook off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Shook dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Shook looks to land a combination. Mann sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Shook swats away the attempt to clinch by Mann. Shook misses with a double jab.
Mann shoots in looking for a takedown. Shook tries to sprawl out of it but Mann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shook manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mann looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Shook! Shook wants to get back to his feet but Mann is dominant here and he's now got Shook's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mann tries to keep control of the position but Shook is staying busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shook is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Shook is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mann keeps control of the position easily here as Shook tries to buck him off.
Shook wants to get back to his feet. Mann is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Shook is defending well though. Mann let's go of the attempt for now. Mann looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Shook taps!
