Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Sidorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vaughn Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Sidorov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sidorov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Noel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sidorov is in Noel's guard. Sidorov controls from within his opponent's guard. Sidorov trying to control the position from guard on top but Noel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Noel tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noel looking to control.
Sidorov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Noel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sidorov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sidorov closes the distance and pushes Noel back into the cage. Noel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sidorov after a bit of a struggle. Sidorov is trying to break free. Sidorov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sidorov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sidorov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Sidorov is striking from the bottom but Noel uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Sidorov is looking for a sweep. Noel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sidorov gets back to full guard.
Noel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sidorov uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Sidorov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Noel quickly recovers to half guard. Noel has one foot on Sidorov's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sidorov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sidorov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sidorov swings wildly with an uppercut but Noel uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noel displaying some good clinch control by pressing Sidorov up against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Noel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sidorov smiles and moves away.
Noel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sidorov tries to get back to half guard but can't. Noel working away. Sidorov is trying to improve his position. Sidorov is trying to control Noel's posture but Noel avoids it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sidorov tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Sidorov dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sidorov lands a front kick. Noel darts in looking for a takedown but Sidorov gets double underhooks and turns Noel into the cage. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sidorov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Noel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sidorov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Noel on his heels. He'll look to pass Noel's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are working up against the cage. Noel manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Sidorov successfully pulls guard.

You can see the frustration on Sidorov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Noel lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sidorov struggling a bit here. Noel really is a fat lump. Sidorov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Noel is thwarting Sidorov's attempts to control the position. Sidorov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sidorov actively working from the bottom here. Sidorov is breathing heavily. Noel throwing shots but Sidorov is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sidorov wants to get back to full guard but Noel has mounted him! BOOM! Noel connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sidorov reaches up to try and control the position but Noel seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Sidorov rolls and tries to escape and now Noel has his back!
Sidorov is really stuck here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sidorov wants to control his opponent's hands but Noel gets his hands free. Noel has the hooks in. Sidorov is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Noel is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sidorov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sidorov for a finish. Noel looking for the choke from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sidorov tries to escape but Noel has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Noel is persistently looking for the submission but Sidorov is defending it well.
You can see the frustration on Sidorov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Noel lands shots from the back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Noel tries to keep control of the position but Sidorov is staying busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vaughn Noel dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Sidorov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noel explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Sidorov looks to throw a body kick and Noel counters with a left and a right that stings Sidorov. Noel shoots in and bounces Sidorov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sidorov working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Noel has passed into half guard!
Noel is looking for a kimura but Sidorov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Noel to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noel winds up and cracks Sidorov with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sidorov wants to improve his position but Noel is controlling well.
Sidorov is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Noel jumps into side control! Sidorov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Noel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sidorov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Noel connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sidorov some visible discomfort.
Vaughn Noel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sidorov is looking to regain half guard here but Noel keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sidorov manages to get back to half guard. Noel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sidorov is just riding it out for now. Noel eventually gives up the hold. Sidorov with the active half guard here but Noel passes nicely into side control. Noel wants to control but Sidorov is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noel goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sidorov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Noel's guard! Nice work there by Sidorov! Sidorov throws a big right hand that misses. Sidorov throws an elbow that misses. Noel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sidorov's guard. Nice move by Noel! Noel postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sidorov looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Noel passes into side control.
Noel has control of an arm but Sidorov manages to advance to Noel's back! Noel rolls, trying to escape but Sidorov keeps control of the position.
Sidorov is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Noel is defending well though. Sidorov let's go of the attempt for now. I really don't envy Noel right now.
And that's the end of the fight! Vaughn Noel showed his dominance in that final round. I think Noel has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
