Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harlon Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanma comes to the cage accompanied by Disl Automatic (feat. K-rino) - Battle Cry. Hughes has chosen USA as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harlon Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hanma uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hughes.
Hughes moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hanma feints and as Hughes raises his hands in defense, Hanma changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hughes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Hughes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
