Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddie Gilbert! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gilbert drops Lynch with a beautiful combination! Lynch stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gilbert is looking for the KO!
It looks like Edward Lynch has been cut. Gilbert misses with a wild body shot. Lynch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lynch showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gilbert pushes Lynch off looking to stand but Lynch dives back in and keeps control.

Lynch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lynch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Edward Lynch dominated that round. The cut man is working on Edward Lynch's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lynch on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Gilbert dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gilbert throws a body shot but no joy. Lynch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gilbert can do to turn this around? Gilbert swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lynch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gilbert scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Gilbert fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynch has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gilbert has a couple of punches blocked by Lynch.

Lynch is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gilbert lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Oh Lynch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lynch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gilbert smiles and moves away.
Gilbert lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Lynch up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Gilbert from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Lynch's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eddie Gilbert!
