Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonis Skayias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Condemned 84 - Face the agression. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
24 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pit Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonis Skayias!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skayias throws a series of strikes that have Mies backpedaling.
Mies looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mies avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mies appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Skayias lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mies backs up against the cage.
Skayias looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mies attempts a counter takedown but Skayias avoids it well and moves away.
Skayias's coach down at Blackstar Striking Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Skayias's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Skayias throws a series of punches but Mies moves out of range.
Mies fails to land the takedown.
Skayias fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Skayias scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mies is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Skayias.
Skayias lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mies backs up against the cage.
Mies is rocked!
Mies shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skayias sprawls well. Skayias wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mies gets slowly back to his feet.
Skayias is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Skayias scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A jab from Skayias does it's job there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mies doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Skayias counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oh Mies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pit Mies. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Skayias connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Mies to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Skayias!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Antonis Skayias!
A relieved looking Antonis Skayias thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Pit Mies had this to say: 'I will be back stronger!'.
