Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edwin Elpidio!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Blade is looking to clinch.
Elpidio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Blade.
Blade misses the shot to the body.
Elpidio is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blade.
Blade moves in looking to clinch but Elpidio pushes him off.
Elpidio swats away the attempt to clinch by Blade.
Elpidio looks to land a combination. Blade sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nice defenses there by Blade.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blade has closed the distance and engaged Elpidio in a clinch.
Blade misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Elpidio lands a shoulder strike.
Elpidio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Elpidio looks to land a combination but Blade avoids it well.
Blade closes the distance and pushes Elpidio back into the cage.

Blade can't find room to land a body shot as Elpidio controls the action.
Blade swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Elpidio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elpidio throws a leg kick that misses.
Blade slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Edwin Elpidio has been cut.
A big right from Elpidio misses.
Blade seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Blade tries to close the distance and clinch but Elpidio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blade tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blade misses with a hook
and Elpidio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jake Blade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blade lands the left hand.
Elpidio scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Blade doesn't seem bothered though.
Elpidio throws out a loose jab but Blade uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blade tries to clinch up.

Elpidio swats away the attempt to clinch by Blade.
Blade moves out of range of the leg kick from Elpidio.
A little feinted left hand from Blade on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've been told by Blade's head coaches at The Cave Fighting Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Elpidio keeps the fight on the outside.
Elpidio lands a big head kick that sends Blade tumbling to the mat! Elpidio takes a step backwards and waves Blade back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Blade is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blade lands with a right that hurts Elpidio. Elpidio looks to clinch but Blade throws a short knee that drops Elpidio. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Jake Blade!
