The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Williams misses.
We've been informed that Sagat has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Williams scores with a shot to the body.
Williams misses with a low kick.
Sagat looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sagat jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sagat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sagat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sagat looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Williams looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Sagat doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.

Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Sagat's shoulder, as Sagat tries to avoid the shot.
Williams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sagat.
Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sagat throws out the jab.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sagat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Williams makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Sagat goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Williams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Still in the clinch, Williams scores with a nice short uppercut.
Williams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sagat gets through Williams's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Williams lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Williams breaks the clinch.
Sagat looks up at the clock. Bad move! Williams lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sagat. Williams pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
