Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Fernandes de Omena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohihiro Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mishima has chosen Olympic Flame as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcos Fernandes de Omena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yohihiro Mishima! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishima fails with a takedown attempt from distance. de Omena keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. de Omena looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mishima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mishima won't allow de Omena to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mishima drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mishima jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. de Omena wants to stand but Mishima is controlling the position. Mishima controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mishima's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mishima thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. de Omena wants to stand and escape but Mishima is having none of it. Mishima pushing down on de Omena's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mishima is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so de Omena is just riding it out for now. Mishima eventually gives up the hold. Mishima sitting and controlling from the half guard. Mishima looks gassed!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mishima works his way into full mount! de Omena wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yohihiro Mishima dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A left and a right from de Omena both land. Nice combination. Marcos Fernandes de Omena is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. de Omena will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. de Omena misses with a hook. Mishima ducked under it nicely. de Omena throws a series of punches but Mishima avoids them all with ease. de Omena throws a wild combination but nothing lands. de Omena scores with the left hand. Mishima knows he should have avoided that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mishima moves out of range of the strikes. de Omena throws a right hand that Mishima ducks under and follows up with a left that Mishima also avoids with ease. de Omena goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. de Omena throws a jab when Mishima was well out of range. Mishima looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? de Omena is fending him off so far but Mishima persists. Nope, de Omena circles away and we're back to standing. Marcos Fernandes de Omena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yohihiro Mishima. Mishima ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A combination from de Omena does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Fernandes de Omena dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Mishima defending well as de Omena loads up on a big left hand. Mishima looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? de Omena is fending him off so far but Mishima persists. Nope, de Omena circles away and we're back to standing. Mishima fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mishima fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. de Omena sprawls well initially but Mishima persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mishima is looking for a kimura but de Omena is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mishima to get the leverage. de Omena pushes Mishima off but Mishima dives into side control.
Mishima tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Mishima takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mishima wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by de Omena, who protects the arm well. Mishima tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mishima is looking to take a break and control but de Omena is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mishima takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. de Omena scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A punch combination from de Omena misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Yohihiro Mishima comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mishima has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
