The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanich. Sanich gets slowly back to his feet. Ortiz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A head kick lands from Ortiz that sends Sanich to the canvas. Sanich tries to scramble back to his feet but Ortiz brings him back down into side control.

Sanich manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
