The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace's jab looks to have found its range, popping Avala under the eye.

It looks like Jerry Avala has been cut.

Wallace swings for the body but Avala moves out of range.
Wallace throws a body shot but no joy.
Wallace shoots in but Avala avoids the takedown attempt easily.
