Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jer Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Good Times. Paul Daniels has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jer Bear's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jer Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Daniels! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bear throws a head kick that misses and Bear takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. Daniels takes one to the side of the head.
Bear delivers a nice body kick. Daniels connects with a right hand. Bear shakes it off. Bear gets a clinch. Bear landing knees to the body.
Bear scores with a shot to the side of Daniels's head. Daniels with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bear is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Daniels gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bear blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bear breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bear keeps Daniels at a distance using the push kick. Jer Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good leg kick by Bear there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daniels takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Daniels swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bear has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Bear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear clinches up with Daniels and pushes him back against the cage. Daniels landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Daniels tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bear avoiding damage as Daniels throws knees to the body.
Daniels avoids a wild elbow strike from Bear. Daniels misses with a hook to the ribs.
Come on Bear - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bear is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Daniels is keeping busy. Bear changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Daniels fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bear tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Daniels counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Daniels tries to work over Bear's front leg with a kick but Bear checks it. Bear tries to close the distance and clinch but Daniels swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Daniels's head. Bear throws a leg kick and Daniels counters with a low kick, right behind Bear 's knee. Daniels attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Daniels lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bear is looking to clinch. Daniels tries a quick counter leg kick but Bear is wise to it. Daniels has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bear fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jer Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daniels. Daniels let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bear falls off balance throwing a combination
and Daniels counters with a nice uppercut. Daniels throws a leg kick but Bear sees it coming and checks it nicely. A little feinted left hand from Bear on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bear throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear throws a front kick aimed at Daniels's knee but Daniels avoids it well. Bear will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bear throws a combination that misses and Daniels counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Daniels moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bear goes down! Can Daniels finish him!?
Bear is rocked!
Jer Bear's cut is getting worse. Daniels gets to his feet - Bear follows without any prompting. Oh Bear is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Daniels moves out of range of the body kick from Bear.
Daniels counters with a body kick. Bear seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bear misses with a lunging right hand
and Daniels makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bear is breathing heavily. Bear thows a leg kick but Daniels checks it and Daniels counters with a nice body kick.
Daniels cracks Bear with a big right hand and Bear goes down! Daniels stands up from Bear's guard - Daniels perhaps looking for a knockout. A low kick from Bear is predictable there and Daniels counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bear's knee momentarily. Bear glances at the clock... BAM! Daniels nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Bear crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Bear is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul Daniels! Paul Daniels thanked the fans post fight for their support.
