Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tat Moh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Motorhead - Iron Fist. Jack Patton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tat Moh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Patton!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton takes a swing at Moh's ribcage but misses.
Moh has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Patton.

Moh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Patton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Patton tries to kick Moh off but Moh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moh lands a nice short elbow.
Moh is looking to advance position but Patton won't allow it.

Patton has his hands clasped together around Moh's back. He's all about the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Moh.
Patton holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Patton wants to improve his position but Moh is controlling well.
Moh uses his free foot to push down on Patton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Patton.
BOOM! Moh connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moh has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Patton's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Patton can't escape the position.
You get the feeling that Patton really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Moh goes for an armbar but Patton turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Patton.
Moh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Patton wants to stand up but Moh is controlling him.
Moh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Patton has his hands on Moh's head, controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Patton pulls Moh in close to prevent any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tat Moh dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jack Patton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Moh just misses with a punch to the body.

Moh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Patton prevents a body shot from Moh.
Patton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moh has him pressed against the cage.
Patton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Moh misses with a body punch.
Moh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Patton can do to turn this around?
Patton has a couple of punches blocked by Moh.

Patton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tat Moh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Moh closes the distance and clinches up with Patton, looking for a takedown. Moh pushes Patton against the cage but Patton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Moh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Patton backwards.
Patton pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Patton's coach down at 5 Star Spar Bazaar was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Patton's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Moh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Patton walks away with a smile on his face. Moh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tat Moh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Patton moves away.

and Patton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Tat Moh has been cut.

Patton drops Moh with a left and a right! Oh, Moh is hurt - Patton dives into side control looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moh tries to improve position but can't.
Patton remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Patton is putting a hurting on Moh here, landing some big shots from side control.
Moh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Moh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Patton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A close second round but Jack Patton will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Moh thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Patton if he has to take too many more of those.

Patton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moh is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tat Moh.
I think Moh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
